After Buttercup gave birth to a puppy that died four hours later, she was depressed, refusing to eat or drink. But a littler of five abandoned kittens turned up at the animal shelter where her owner works. Now Buttercup is the very protective adoptive mother of nine kittens, after a second litter was born prematurely.
