After some dispute over the proper title-holder, the Guinness folk’s official measurements have given George the crown.
And they’re looking for record-setting pets in other categories as well, so yours could still be a contender.

its really unfortunate that Guiness even has this type of record in its record books. All it does is promote unhealthy breeding trying to obtain the biggest of the big. Yes, Danes are big. However, when they get this big, they usually have a lot of health problems. Why aren’t those pieces of information publicized? Its not all that glamorous to be that big.
