Guide Dog Does Double Duty with Predecessor

Sadly, Graham Waspe’s guide dog, Edward, developed inoperable cataracts after eight years of service, and lost both his eyes.

Enter Mr. Waspe’s new guide dog, Opal, who has not only taken over Edward’s duties, but has taken charge of Edward as well.

She takes Edward around to all his favorite places, and the two of them have become a familiar sight around town. Mr. Waspe and his wife also take both dogs around to schools and other locations to educate people about guide dogs.
