This fall, prospective SUV buyers will find some dog-friendly options in the Honda Element.
The Element will offer such features as a cushioned pet bed in the cargo area with an elevated platform, pet-restraint systems, a rear ventilation fan, a ramp to help less agile dogs into the vehicle, and a spill-resistant water bowl.
Given the slump in SUV sales, Honda apparently hopes to lure dog lovers into reconsidering its product.
