Judge Says School Must Allow Service Dog

Caleb is a 7-year-old with severe autism; Eddy is his service dog, who is tethered to his young charge by a red strap. Eddy keeps Caleb from running away or into traffic, and is trained to intervene when the boy becomes anxious.

Caleb’s school refused to let Eddy attend with him, but a judge has ruled that banning the dog from campus is not allowed, and that Caleb is probably a victim of discrimination. NBC News has a video on the story.
