First up, the Xoloitzcuintli (which Time magazine says is pronounced “show-low-eats-queen-tli”). A rare and ancient breed hailing from Mexico and Central America, the Xoloitzcuintli was traditionally thought to have healing powers. This one, though, has musical leanings:
