We’ve all heard the horror stories about pit bulls. They’ve been used and abused in dogfighting rings and turned into the poster dog for dangerous breeds.
The problem, of course, is that not all pit bulls are dangerous — and not all dangerous dogs are pit bulls.
A new policy in Toledo is spreading to other parts of Ohio, and may soon catch on elsewhere. It labels dogs according to their behavior rather than their breed.
Of course, no law can ever perfectly protect us from dog attacks, but it certainly makes sense for dogs that have already displayed aggressive behavior to be labeled as potential problems, regardless of breed.

This is a very good idea, I hope the policy is passed and then alot of dogs will no longer die a senseless death.
