You probably heard about the four show dogs who were kidnapped when the van they were riding in was stolen. Fortunately, all four dogs — two Akitas and two Corgis — were safely returned to their owners and handlers.
And in true performer fashion, the dogs appeared as scheduled in a dog show in Long Beach. One of them, 10-month-old Akita DiDi, won best of breed in the puppy showings and was also a star of the working group, as well as charming the reporters at the show.
